David Ault

David Ault

Founder & Executive Director

David has overseen the growth of its original purpose to ease suffering, provide education and cultivate dignity in the lives of 1000’s of children and their families in some of the world’s most vulnerable territories. David has served as an ordained minister in the philosophy of New Thought in Los Angeles, CA, Mobile, AL and Atlanta, GA and authored a number of bestselling books. He trains others in the fields of mindfulness, wellbeing strategies, and global literacy but his heart is most alive when engaging with the children, families and communities of Kaleidoscope’s world wide schools. He is the recipient of numerous awards including the inaugural New Thought Walden Award for Social Activism.

Ian Folker

Vice President

Ian is a native of Germany and has been in the United States for 33 years. He is a professional dance instructor as well as a master reiki healer, a motivational speaker, and ordained minister in ATL. Ian states that “my first trip with KCF to Cambodia in 2014 changed my life forever and Education for Children has become my passion. In my lifetime I want to touch as many lives of impoverished children as possible and I want to help to make a difference in their lives. I am honored to serve on the Board of Directors of KCF and I am looking forward to many more years of service for our amazing children… Life is Amazing.”

Niki Murphy

Treasurer

Niki serves as the treasurer for Kaleidoscope Child Foundation. Her volunteer travels with Kaleidoscope span over the past seven years, taking her to Cambodia, India, and Guatemala. Connection to these places and especially the people, continue to call her back to these beautiful and special parts of the world.

Her life has become more enriched with each experience and she has become even further committed to supporting Kaleidoscope’s mission of free education for those less fortunate. She believes that when one succeeds we all succeed, thereby making this  world a better place for all. Photography is Niki’s hobby and the children that Kaleidoscope serves are her favorite subjects!

Najanshee

Nijanshee Kanabar

Board Member

Nijanshee is a Master’s of Public Health in Health Policy and Management at Emory University. She completed her Bachelors in Dental Surgery from India in 2018. During her undergraduate study, she helped organize and conduct multiple oral screening camps among the rural parts around Ahmedabad and at a few schools for gifted children in the district.

These camps helped her build interest in public health and encouraged her to do work that reaches out to a larger underprivileged population. Nijanshee’s other interests include improving global mental health, the condition of Alcohol use disorder in India, and the socioeconomic factors associated with it.

Roland Leveque

Roland Leveque

Board Member

Roland was honored in 2020 with the Kaleidoscope Child Foundation Impact Award. His first experience with KCF was on a Volunteer trip to Cambodia in 2012 where a  “void that I was feeling in my heart was filled by this experience with David Ault and the children.” Roland has maintained his involvement and support with Kaleidoscope ever since. He currently resides in Hawaii where he is enjoying retired life.

Abhi Acharya

Abhi Acharya

Board Member

Abhi Acharya brings an innovative and strategic vision to the global mission of Kaleidoscope Child Foundation, helping to nurture its growth and expand its life-changing programs. Originally from Nepal, Abhi is deeply committed to empowering underserved communities. His leadership supports Kaleidoscope’s ongoing efforts in Cambodia, India, and beyond, ensuring that vulnerable children have access to the tools they need to thrive.

With a background in finance and strategic development, Abhi offers a keen eye for scaling impact-driven initiatives while maintaining the foundation’s core mission. His expertise in resource management, partnership-building, and sustainable funding models plays a vital role in shaping the foundation’s future. Passionate about bridging opportunity gaps for disenfranchised communities, he is dedicated to fostering a global network of education and empowerment through Kaleidoscope Child Foundation’s work.

Randy Stephenson

Board Member

Randy is a retired educator and a student of Spanish. Randy came onto the Kaleidoscope board in 2020, and serves as the main lead for Guatemala operations. In 2016, after having witnessed up-close the impoverished conditions in which a majority of the Guatemalan indigenous people live, he was awakened to a desire to be of greater service.

Randy served on the board of Friends of FORMA, and during that time introduced KCF to the important work being done in Guatemala and the need for additional support. In 2017, an alliance was formed between KCF and FORMA, the organization that runs a scholarship program for middle and high school students. Randy is grateful for the opportunity to continue to serve internationally and looks forward to helping Kaleidoscope grow and enrich its efforts.

Dr. Stephane

Dr. Stephane Docteur

Board Member

Dr. Stephane Docteur is a medical doctor with experience providing HIV, sexually transmitted infections, and Sexual and Reproductive Health services. Over the years, he has worked as a clinician, a trainer, and a health program manager.

He was born and raised in Haiti where his passion for public service started while working with underprivileged communities. He has a great interest in community empowerment, mother and child health, sexual and reproductive health, and health system effectiveness.

As a graduate of the master’s program at the Rollins School of Public Health and a fellowship recipient from Kaleidoscope Child Foundation, Stephane became involved in the International Public Health programs at The Carter Center. Their mission is to alleviate human suffering by providing technical expertise and support to national programs, helping to build strong systems for disease prevention and treatment.

Stephane considers Kaleidoscope Child Foundation a part of his U.S. family and remains an active partner in its sanitation and public health initiatives.

Katie

Katie Levi

Accounting and Technical Support

After graduating from high school, Katie left her hometown of Davenport, Iowa, and enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. Over eight years, she served as an aircraft maintainer and eventually moved into the field of computer networking. She continued working in various government agencies, including the Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Postal Service, and, finally, the Department of Veterans Affairs as a Senior IT Analyst. In 2022, Katie retired after 24 years of federal service. As a retiree, Katie enjoys traveling for both humanitarian efforts and out of pure curiosity about the world around her. She has experienced the work of the Kaleidoscope Child Foundation firsthand in the territories of Cambodia and India and is overjoyed to lend her skills to the ongoing rotation of our global projects.
Vincent

Vincent Tipaldo

Project Manager for U.S. Grant Initiatives

Originally from New York, Vincent has considered California home since the late 1970s. Travel and wildlife rank among his greatest passions. With a career in advertising, he has managed design, technology, and operations groups, focusing on building teams and coaching individuals toward leadership. Giving back is one of his primary paths to joy and gratitude, and he currently volunteers with multiple organizations. He discovered the work of the Kaleidoscope Child Foundation through its founder, David Ault, and felt a strong calling to offer his time and talents in helping to solidify our U.S.-based grant offerings to other nonprofits.
Jai Ram Lentine (Dan Lentine)

Dan 'Jai Ram' Lentine

Accounting Support / Global Health Advisor

Jai Ram holds a master’s degree in Public Health from Emory University and serves humanity as a policy analyst at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. In 2020, he provided leadership in congressional affairs for the CDC and in COVID-19 emergency response management. His journeys to the Kaleidoscope Child Foundation’s W.A.S.H. programs and freshwater initiatives in Cambodia and India were pivotal game-changers, influencing where and how he could offer his services to the world.
Siddharth Tiwari

Siddharth Tiwari

Bodhgaya Expansion Project

Siddharth Tiwari was born, raised, and continues to live in the northwest foothills of the Himalayas (Uttarakhand), a region often referred to as Devi Bhumi, renowned for its deep spiritual history and connection to saints and deities dating back thousands of years.

His passion for the magic of the Himalayas, along with his love for landscape and design, naturally led him to pursue a career in architectural design. He partners with his family in managing a self-designed homestay and retreat center in his hometown of Kainchi.

Siddharth recently traveled to Bodhgaya to offer his expertise in preparing and launching the soon-to-be multi-purpose school and training center for the children of Kaleidoscope Child Foundation. His leadership in this project is an extraordinary gift, particularly for the female graduates, as it provides them with a tangible pathway to transform their academic skills into career opportunities.
